Platform Controls Associate

What you'll do

• Complete a range of processes and activities across the Platform Controls function.
• Review data and information for accuracy, identifying discrepancies or potential control issues.
• Identify control failures and support corrective actions to help activities complete accurately and on time.
• Follow established processes and procedures to support good client outcomes.
• Investigate queries, source information and use logical thinking to find appropriate solutions.
• Develop a good understanding of financial services platforms and how they operate.
• Build knowledge across multiple processes so you can provide support across different areas of the business.
• Support the oversight of client-facing literature, working with Marketing and Operational teams where required.
• Contribute to team meetings, sharing feedback, ideas and opportunities to improve processes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to organise and prioritise your workload.
• Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.
• A willingness to learn and develop your knowledge.
• A logical approach to investigating issues and finding solutions.
• The confidence to ask questions and suggest improvements.
• The ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English Language, and 2 A Levels or equivalent.

• Previous experience within financial services.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience writing technical documentation or documenting processes.
• An understanding of financial services platforms or investment administration.
