Platform Engineer

Are you ready to play an instrumental role as a Platform Engineer within a globally successful brand? If yes, this role is for you!

You will play a key role in designing, building, and evolving cloud infrastructure and platform services. You will be responsible for developing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions, driving the adoption of IaC and automation practices while ensuring the stability and efficiency of the company's technology landscape.

This role if full time and based in Athens.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Design, implement and maintain the development platform and cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code.

• Build and maintain tools and services to enable and accelerate the development teams and improve the maintainability and operability of infrastructure.

• Consult, assist and collaborate with developers to enable them to get the most out of cloud-native technologies.

• Improve the observability strategy and processes to enable data-driven decision making.

• Develop and implement CI/CD and automation best practices.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

• Strong experience in platform engineering or cloud computing as well as a deep understanding of networking and cloud deployment models.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (or similar), Kubernetes, Git, Scripting and a solid understanding of monitoring solutions (e.g. Prometheus, StackDriver, DataDog).

• Understanding Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm etc.) and automation using CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex problems across complex systems.

• Comfortable utilizing AI and automation tools to optimize workflows and increase productivity.
