ActalentservicesJob Title: PMO Coordinator Job Description This role supports the deployment of a large-scale enterprise business transformation program, including the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and the replacement of legacy systems. As a member of both the local Project Management Office and a broader global PMO network, the PMO Coordinator ensures that all project management activities follow established methodologies, governance standards, and deployment requirements. The position focuses on project governance, planning, reporting, risk management, and methodology adherence to help deliver a successful implementation and go-live across a complex, cross-functional environment. Responsibilities Support the local deployment team and site leadership in planning and executing all phases of the deployment. Ensure consistent adoption and proper use of PMO toolkits, templates, and standardized processes across the project. Drive detailed project planning activities, including scheduling, coordination of tasks, and tracking of dependencies. Coordinate and oversee day-to-day project execution activities to ensure alignment with scope, timeline, and quality expectations. Monitor overall project health, including progress against milestones, budget adherence where applicable, and resource utilization. Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and scope changes, and support the development and execution of mitigation plans. Maintain and manage project schedules, ensuring critical path activities are clearly identified and proactively managed. Prepare and deliver regular status reports and updates for stakeholders at local and global levels, ensuring clear, concise communication. Support governance activities by maintaining project documentation, logs, and records in line with PMO standards. Partner closely with the Global and Wave PMO Lead to align local deployment activities with global program objectives and timelines. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of PMO deliverables. Ensure all PMO deliverables, including plans, reports, and governance artifacts, are completed accurately and on time. Act as a key liaison between the local deployment team and the global PMO organization, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution. Support adherence to standardized enterprise processes and methodologies aimed at harmonizing and simplifying operations across the organization. Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO practices by sharing lessons learned and best practices from deployment activities. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of project management experience. Experience supporting large-scale, cross-functional projects or transformation initiatives. Proven track record managing complex project workstreams through implementation and go-live. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies. Hands-on experience with project planning and execution. Experience managing project risks, issues, and scope. Schedule management expertise, including critical path and dependency management. Experience preparing status reports and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Strong documentation and governance management skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. High level of organization and strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Advanced degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Bg in roles such as PMO Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Program Coordinator, Program Manager, PMO Analyst, Business Transformation Project Manager, ERP/SAP Project Coordinator, Change Management Project Coordinator, or Implementation Project Manager. Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations. Experience working on large enterprise transformation programs. Exposure to PMO governance and deployment methodologies. Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or other regulated environments. Experience supporting global program deployments and go-live activities. Work Environment The PMO Coordinator works within both a local site-based PMO and a global PMO network, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations. The environment is fast-paced and highly matrixed, with a strong focus on standardized processes, governance, and continuous improvement. The role centers on supporting a major enterprise transformation that includes the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and the retirement of legacy systems, using structured project management tools and methodologies. Work typically involves regular virtual and in-person meetings, coordination across time zones, and frequent interaction with stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
