PQ Accountant - German Speaking A unique advisory firm based in Malta is seeking a German-speaking Part-Qualified Accountant to provide accounting support and guidance to their German-speaking clientele. In this role, you will work closely with the Managing Director and Co-Founder, assisting clients based in both Germany and Malta. This is a hybrid role that offers a salary of up to €38K. Role & Responsibilities: Manage and support a varied client portfolio based in Malta and Germany Produce accurate, timely, and compliant financial reports and documentation Assist in preparing management accounts, VAT returns, and reconciliations Support month-end and year-end closing processes Maintain general ledgers and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately Liaise directly with clients to resolve accounting queries and provide guidance Collaborate with tax advisors and auditors where necessary Contribute to process improvements and ensure adherence to regulatory standards Skills & Experience: Part-qualified in ACCA or holding a university degree in Accounting or Finance Fluent in German (non-negotiable) and English (written and spoken) 2+ years of experience in a similar accounting role Experience in client interaction and portfolio management Good understanding of Tax and VAT principles Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Detail-oriented, organised, and able to explain financial data to non-financial audiences About this Role: Salary of up to €38K Hybrid Office is based in H’Attard, Malta Friendly and supportive work environment Excellent career progression opportunities Apply with your CV in English, please. *JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
