We are seeking a PR professional with a keen interest in client businesses, news media, creators, and culture, who can provide proactive communications and reputation management counsel to clients in Vietnam, particularly in the lifestyle, travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors.

In this role, you will lead a small team delivering integrated PR, influencer, social, and digital programs, ensuring speed and quality while mentoring team members and working with senior leadership on account performance, growth, and new business opportunities. You will report to the VP of the department on account performance, growth, and team development.

Client Service & Strategy

  • Serve as the senior day-to-day point of contact for client leadership, building trusted advisor relationships with client marketing and communications teams.

  • Own account planning, translating client business objectives into integrated PR, influencer, and digital strategies.

  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities within accounts, escalating and resolving issues before they affect client satisfaction.

  • Present strategic recommendations, campaign results, and account reviews directly to client stakeholders, including senior client-side management.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow existing accounts through scope expansion and organic new business.

Account & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor account executives, overseeing influencer relations, media relations, event management, and content quality across the team.

  • Manage account financials, including budgets, scopes of work, and profitability of assigned accounts.

  • Set campaign strategy and oversee execution, from planning through post-campaign analysis and reporting, ensuring work meets Vero's quality standards.

  • Build and maintain a strong network of media, influencer, and industry contacts within the lifestyle, travel, tourism, and hospitality space.

  • Support new business development, including pitch strategy, proposal development, and participation in pitch presentations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other Vero teams (creative, digital, social) to deliver integrated campaigns.

  • Ensure all deliverables across the team are completed on time, on budget, and to client satisfaction.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in PR, communications, or integrated marketing agency roles, including experience managing client accounts and leading junior team members.

  • Proven experience with clients in lifestyle, travel, tourism, or hospitality strongly preferred.

  • Established senior-level network of media contacts (press, online, broadcast) with a track record of securing high-quality coverage.

  • Strong track record in event management, from strategic planning through on-site execution.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills for strategic documents, press materials, and client reports in both Vietnamese and English.

  • Strong understanding of the social and digital landscape and how PR integrates with influencer and digital strategy.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience coaching and developing junior staff.

  • Confident, senior-level client-facing skills, with the ability to counsel and manage relationships with client leadership.

  • Strong business acumen, including budget management and identifying growth opportunities within accounts.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to oversee multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).

  • Collaborative leadership style, with willingness to support cross-functional and agency-wide initiatives.
