PR & Media Relations Specialist

Carpe Diem is hiring a PR & Media Relations Specialist for one of our US clients. We're looking for a proactive professional with hands-on experience in public relations & media outreach, who can help strengthen brand visibility and credibility through strategic publicity. If you have experience pitching stories to publications, securing media coverage, and identifying podcast opportunities, we'd love to hear from you!

• Write, edit, and distribute professional press releases.
• Research relevant online publications, magazines, newspapers, and industry platforms for publicity opportunities.
• Pitch story ideas, guest articles, and thought-leadership content to editors and publishers.
• Identify podcast opportunities and coordinate guest appearances for company representatives.
• Build relationships with journalists, editors, and media contacts.
• Execute personalized media outreach campaigns.
• Track media placements, outreach activities, and PR campaign performance.

• Bachelor's degree or MBA, with 2–3 years of relevant experience in Public Relations, Media Relations, or Digital PR.
• Hands-on experience writing press releases and conducting media outreach.
• Understanding of media pitching, earned media, and editorial placements.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong research, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Organized under pressure
• Professional appearance and polished English
• Reliable, punctual and able to say yes on short notice
• Able to stand for long stretches and carry event materials
• Reliable transportation, and willingness to travel for events

• Experience working with international publications or media outlets.
• Experience with podcast outreach & guest booking
