Presales Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time Presales Engineer role based in WP Kuala Lumpur with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Presales Engineer will work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements, prepare technical proposals, and deliver product presentation and demonstrations. Daily tasks include analyzing customer environments, designing secure and cost-effective solutions, and supporting integration plans for proposed technologies. The role involves responding to technical inquiries, preparing proof-of-concept configurations, and collaborating with technical support teams to ensure solution feasibility. The Presales Engineer will also participate in client meetings, assist in tenders and RFP responses, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of security and blockchain-related technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong presales and sales support skills, including requirement analysis, solution design, and proposal preparation.
• Technical support and integration capabilities to assist in deploying and validating proposed solutions.
• Knowledge of security principles and practices, particularly in managed security services
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., network/security certifications) and experience in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity are advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
