Commercial Strategy Manager, Pharma Business
Dublin (Hybrid, 3 days/week) | €80,000–€100,000 + bonus and excellent benefits
Our client is a lean, high-impact team bringing lower-cost biosimilar medicines to market, backed by one of the largest healthcare organisations in the country. As part of the commercial strategy team, you pick the opportunity, build the case, run the due diligence and see it through to a manufacturing partner and a launch. Same skill set as life sciences consulting, but you own the outcome.
What you'll do
- Shape the 2–3 year growth roadmap and decide which opportunities to pursue
- Build business cases: financial modelling, opportunity sizing, ROI
- Lead partnership due diligence end to end and manage manufacturing partners
- Own sourcing (RFPs) and drive delivery across legal, finance, market access and supply chain
- Track performance and act on it: market share, conversion, pricing and partner results
What you'll bring
- 5+ years in life sciences, pharma or biotech consulting (strategy, commercial or market access); in-house commercial strategy or corporate development also considered
- Strong financial modelling and business case skills
- Confidence working independently with senior stakeholders, without a project structure around you
- Biosimilars, generics or off-patent exposure a plus
- Pharmacy or STEM degree an advantage; registered pharmacist with an MBA/MSc ideal, not essential
Why move
- Decisions, not recommendations: you see your work through to launch
- Small team, direct senior access, real scope to grow the role
- No billable hours, no constant travel, hybrid in Dublin
