Role Description: This Full-time Primary Cambridge & PYP IB role at Mentoro is fully based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The educator will plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with Cambridge Primary and/or IB PYP frameworks, ensuring clear learning objectives and differentiated support for a diverse range of international school students. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing engaging learning materials, guiding students through core subjects, monitoring progress, and providing regular feedback to learners and families. The role also involves collaborating with Mentoro’s academic team, participating in curriculum discussions, and using digital and AI-enhanced tools to support learning. The educator is expected to maintain professional standards, uphold safeguarding practices, and communicate effectively with students, parents or guardians, and school partners.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching at the primary level within Cambridge and/or IB PYP curricula, including lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management.
  • Strong instructional skills in core primary subjects (e.g., English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities) with the ability to differentiate for varied learning needs and language backgrounds.
  • Experience working with international school communities, showing cultural sensitivity, inclusive practices, and the ability to support students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Competence in using digital learning platforms, online classroom tools, and AI-enhanced resources to design and deliver engaging learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with families, schools, and colleagues, including clear written and spoken English.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field; teaching certification and formal training in Cambridge and/or IB PYP frameworks are strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage time effectively, and adapt to both in-person and remote teaching environments.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and student well-being, including adherence to child safeguarding and safety standards.
