Principal / Associate / Associate Director - Landscape Architecture

We're looking for a Principal, Associate or Associate Director Landscape Architect to lead and grow a landscape architecture team in Leeds or Durham.

About the role:

You'll be heading up the established landscape architecture discipline with live projects and clients and a strong existing pipeline. What's missing is a leader to grow it into a team. As the Landscape Architecture lead, you'll own the function end to end: leading client relationships, setting direction, and building and mentoring the team as the work grows.

Whether you're the type of leader to come in and build quickly: winning new work, diversifying the portfolio, hiring around themselves; or someone who prefers to get under the skin of the practice first, deliver brilliantly, and grow the team as the pipeline earns it - your approach will be trusted and welcomed.

A mixed planning and design with strong planning focus, you'll be working on a portfolio of projects focused around waste and minerals, renewables, and residential - with the opportunity to diversify if so desired / able.

You'll have a great amount of autonomy, while also being well supported; with excellent training and development prospects and skill-nurturing. Those joining at Associate / Associate Director level will be on a realistic path to Directorship within the next 5-10 years.

This role can be worked from either the Leeds or Durham office, and offers a huge amount of flexibility. Salary & benefits:

• Circa £48,000 - £75,000

About you:

• 7-10+ years experience in landscape architecture / landscape planner

• Experience in renewables, waste & minerals, and/or residential

• Experience leading and supporting junior members of a team - experience growing a team desirable

• Strong project management and client facing experience
