About the team

You will be part of a global data and digital community working closely with the Data Office, business leaders, project teams, and technology stakeholders across Novonesis.

Our team is committed to enabling trusted, scalable, and high-quality data that supports strategic decisions and sustainable growth. We collaborate across functions, geographies, and disciplines to ensure that data governance becomes a business enabler rather than a compliance exercise.

As a Principal Master Data Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, influencing key decisions at both operational and executive levels while helping shape the future of enterprise data management.

In this role you'll make an impact by

• Defining and driving the strategic vision for master data management across the enterprise.
• Leading the development and implementation of global master data governance frameworks, standards, and policies.
• Leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that improve data quality, scalability, and business value.
• Driving adoption of innovative master data management practices, technologies, and ways of working.
• Ensuring seamless integration of master data across business-critical systems and platforms.
• Sponsoring and overseeing large-scale strategic projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.

Potentially relevant experience

We encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences. You may be a strong fit if you bring several of the following:

• Extensive experience within master data management, data governance, data strategy, or related disciplines.
• Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, and Master Data Management platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, or similar enterprise solutions.
• Hands on experience (material master, recipe management etc) in ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar enterprise solutions.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and driving change across global organizations.
• Solid knowledge of governance frameworks, data quality principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience leading complex programs, portfolios, or enterprise-scale projects.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational change capabilities.
