About the Role
WinTech is seeking an experienced professional to accelerate growth of ProAdmin, our defined benefit calculation engine, used on its own and embedded within pension administration systems. You will shape our go-to-market strategy and build relationships across the plan sponsor ecosystem including plan sponsors, Pension Administration System (PAS) partners, and pension consultants. The role has two parts: building partnerships with PAS vendors that embed ProAdmin, and selling directly to plan sponsors who want greater confidence in their benefit calculations.
What You Will Do
- Build and execute a strategy aligned to our growth objectives.
- Lead each opportunity end to end, from finding and qualifying prospects through closing and onboarding new customers and partners.
- Build and manage PAS partnerships: identify and prioritize vendors, negotiate commercial agreements, and run joint pursuits where ProAdmin is embedded as the calculation engine.
- Earn the trust of plan sponsor leaders, PAS partners, and pension consultants through a working knowledge of how plan sponsors operate and what they need.
- Show plan sponsors how ProAdmin addresses problems such as calculation errors and the need for confidence in benefit calculations.
- Represent WinTech at industry events.
What You Bring
You know the defined benefit (DB) market and how plan sponsors work, and you have a record of building pipeline and growing revenue.
- 10+ years of experience in business development or pension consulting within the DB plan space. Public sector experience is required; private sector experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of who makes and influences decisions at plan sponsors, and comfort working with fund administrators, executive directors, technology leaders, and consultants.
- A record of closing long, complex deals with several decision-makers, RFPs, and board or executive sign-off.
- Experience building channel, OEM, or technology partnerships, including negotiating commercial terms and co-selling with partners.
- Sound commercial judgment and strong communication and relationship skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, retirement services, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Nice to Have
Any of the following will help you get up to speed faster.
- Experience selling pension software, actuarial or pension consulting services, or other retirement technology.
- Familiarity with plan sponsors, PAS providers, pension consultants, and retirement technology platforms.
Why Join Us
This role gives you the opportunity to shape WinTech’s growth, build senior relationships across the plan sponsor ecosystem, and influence how we bring ProAdmin to market. You will work across WinTech to turn customer needs and market intelligence into opportunities for both our clients and our business.
We are building this part of the business, so the role will evolve and you should be comfortable with shifting priorities.
