As a new company with a long legacy of creating breakthrough solutions for our customers’ toughest challenges, we pioneer game-changing innovations at the intersection of health, material and data science that change patients' lives for the better while enabling healthcare professionals to perform at their best. Because people, and their wellbeing, are at the heart of every scientific advancement we pursue.

We partner closely with the brightest minds in healthcare to ensure that every solution we create melds the latest technology with compassion and empathy. Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the Procure-to-Pay (PtP) Internal Controls & Compliance SME (m/f/x)* at Solventum, you will own, maintain and further develop our Procure to Pay control environment. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across PtP Operations, Internal Audit and SOX, and External Audit to keep our controls effective as processes and systems evolve. You’ll gain exposure to diverse business processes across our global footprint and have opportunities to develop your technical, leadership, and communication skills in a dynamic environment.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Maintaining the PtP SOX control framework and adapting it to business, process, and system changes
  • Ensuring consistent, high-quality, and timely execution of controls across the PtP function, including validating selected controls to monitor compliance
  • Developing and maintaining an operational control framework that covers both standard SOX controls and key operational (non-SOX) controls
  • Maintaining and developing the continuous monitoring framework
  • Advising on controls for PtP projects and system changes
  • Preparing documentation for audit requests, including process flows, risk and control matrices (RCMs), and issue summaries
  • Analyzing control failures to find root causes and recommend improvements to the control environment
  • Leading PtP remediation of Internal and External Audit findings in collaboration with Internal Audit
  • Coordinating all audit activities between PtP Operations and Internal Audit
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement across the PtP organization

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Internal or External Audit, SOX, or Internal Controls
  • Fluent English

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Experience in Procure to Pay processes
  • SAP S4 Hana Experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact across multiple levels and geographies
  • Experience leading remote or global teams and managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to high-quality execution
