Procurement Manager (Remote & US Based)

We are a transportation company in Pennsylvania and New Jersey USA. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for the organization. You will develop and implement procurement strategies, establish relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage the procurement team. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of procurement practices. Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships with strategic vendors. Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and supplier performance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support throughout the procurement process. Monitor and analyze procurement metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance procurement efficiency and cost savings. Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies, including ethical sourcing practices. Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
