SEO and Social Media Manager

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site or full-remote role for a SEO and Social Media Manager. The individual in this position will plan and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, optimize website content, and monitor performance using analytics tools. They will manage social media channels, develop content calendars, create and adapt posts for multiple platforms, and ensure consistent brand messaging. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with marketing and product teams, conducting keyword and audience research, tracking campaign metrics, and refining strategies based on data-driven insights. The role also involves staying current with SEO, SMO, and social media best practices to enhance NodeGuard’s visibility and engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to grow and engage audiences across key platforms.
• Proficiency in Communication and Writing to craft clear, compelling, and brand-aligned messages.
• Experience with Content Strategy to plan, organize, and optimize content for both search engines and social channels.
• Knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research, on-page optimization, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console).
• Ability to interpret performance data, report on KPIs, and adjust campaigns based on insights.
• Familiarity with hosting, cloud, or developer-focused products is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years in SEO/content marketing with measurable ranking and link-building results.
• Technical enough to be credible: real exposure to the web hosting industry, Linux servers, WordPress, DNS and control panels.
• Strong written English — you'll write technical posts engineers don't cringe at.
• Comfortable owning strategy and execution alone, reporting directly to the founder.
