Our client is seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist / Analyst to join their Procurement Services & Transformation team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient operation of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, supporting procurement activities across the organisation while maintaining strong governance, controls, and service delivery standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, outsourced service partners, and finance teams to ensure procurement processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.
What the role is aboutAs a Procurement Operations Specialist / Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining core procurement workflows, ensuring service level agreements are achieved and key procurement controls are operated effectively.
You will provide guidance and support to stakeholders, manage procurement queries, analyse operational data, and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a variety of procurement workflow activities and operational tasks on a daily basis.
- Support the delivery of Procure-to-Pay processes in line with agreed service levels and internal controls.
- Respond to and resolve complex procurement-related queries from business stakeholders.
- Provide procurement guidance and support to internal teams and suppliers.
- Participate in operational reviews and provide insight to key stakeholders.
- Support governance activities and oversight of outsourced procurement service providers.
- Analyse procurement and financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
- Assist with supplier management activities to ensure compliance, performance, and service quality standards are achieved.
- Work closely with Finance and wider business teams to resolve issues and improve end-to-end procurement processes.
- Contribute to projects, workstreams, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
- Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or a related business function.
- Understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and controls.
- Strong customer and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Experience working in a regulated or governance-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience within Financial Services, Banking, or Asset & Wealth Management.
- Knowledge of procurement systems, financial systems, and data analysis tools.
- Experience supporting supplier management and procurement governance activities.
- Exposure to process improvement initiatives, Lean methodologies, or operational excellence programmes.
- Understanding of procurement compliance standards and risk management practices.
- Experience working with outsourced service providers and managing service delivery against SLAs.
This is a an initial six month long contract. It is a hybrid role based primarily in Dublin. Team members are typically required to attend the office a minimum of 8 days per month to support collaboration, engagement, and team connectivity.
