Product Designer - Growth

We are looking forward to welcoming a new creative problem solver to our Growth team as a Product Designer. You will own the journey from first visit to sign-up, activation, trial, onboarding and conversion. This role will own design projects that have high impact on both short and long term core business conversion metrics.

At Soundtrap, we put a strong emphasis on design and user experience. We believe that the design profession plays a vital role to build a successful product. As a Product Designer you will work collaboratively with Product Managers, Engineers and others to be a part of the design process - from vision to measuring the real impact of your work. You will take part in discovering findings to improve and invent new features, understanding and developing aspects of the user journey, building user interfaces and prototyping them.

What you’ll do

• Be immersed into one of the Soundtrap product crews, focused on the logged out experience and user onboarding flows (sign-up, activation, trial, onboarding and conversion)

• Create a coherent experience across web, desktop and mobile platforms

• Work closely with product managers, engineers and others to ensure that design solutions are intuitive, visually appealing and meet user needs

• Explore new ideas and make them tangible through prototyping and visualization

• Identify strategic solutions ahead of the current known roadmap

• Work together with the Soundtrap design team to continuously improve and grow the design competence, fostering a culture of sharing and collaboration

Who you are

• Experience with working as a product designer in multi-disciplinary product teams

• Experience leveraging behavioural psychology to design user onboarding and conversion funnels

• Familiarity with using AI as a tool to assist your design work, from discovery to delivery

• A proven track record of designing high-quality solutions and creating a holistic user experience across both desktop and mobile

• Proficiency in using qualitative and quantitative data to define success metric, in collaboration with the PM.

• Ability to communicate ideas through wireframes, mockups, and prototypes

• Proficiency with adequate design tools and software (we are heavy Claude Design users).

• Relevant higher education in Design (Interaction, Graphic, Product etc.), Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent

• An online portfolio or PDF with case studies of projects and design implementations, that you can’t wait to share with us!

• A common theme throughout our teams is a genuine interest in music, so you might play an instrument, or maybe just love listening to music whenever you get a chance.

• We are a distributed workforce enabling Soundtrap employees to find a work mode best for them.

• You can choose to work from our office in Stockholm, and/or to work from home in the greater Stockholm area.
