Constrafor is rebuilding the financial infrastructure behind one of the largest industries on the planet and we're doing it fast! Construction moves trillions of dollars a year, yet it still runs on outdated processes, cash flow guesswork, and paperwork chaos. We're the SaaS and fintech platform fixing that, giving General Contractors and Subcontractors the tools to manage procurement and financial transactions the way modern companies actually operate. Backed by $30M+ in VC funding and scaling fast, we're not just building software, we're building the operating system for construction finance. If you want your work to have real, tangible impact on an industry that touches literally everything around you, this is that opportunity.
We’re seeking an exceptional Product Manager to lead our Credit & Payments pod, the team that turns Cru data into financial products for the 80,000+ subcontractors in our network. This pod owns how we decide whom to finance, how we fund and service them, how money moves across the platform, and how we report to the credit facilities behind it. To date, we’ve funded over $2B in transaction volume, and that scope reaches into every product Constrafor sells: every automated close in Cru deepens the ledger this pod underwrites on. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer with a dedicated engineering team, you’ll set the roadmap and decide what ships. Your mandate is to turn Early Pay into a credit platform that underwrites continuously on our data, moves money with bank quality controls, and becomes the origination engine for every financial product Constrafor sells. If you’ve built products for a lending or payments business and you’re comfortable being the only PM in the room with a creditor, we’d love to hear from you.
📝 What You’ll Do:
- Build credit decisioning that draws on Cru’s live view of a subcontractor’s business and refreshes as that view changes, so Sales, Credit, and Servicing all work from one view of where a sub stands, from first contact through every draw.
- Own how money moves in and out of the platform, with best-in-class controls built into every flow.
- Keep our facilities monitored and our ledger diligence-ready for the capital partners behind them.
- Make Early Pay, and the financial products that follow, available where subs already work and on the data Cru already holds.
- Set the roadmap and decide what ships, working with a dedicated engineering team and partnering closely with Credit, Finance, Capital Markets, and Sales.
- Replace manual operations with product, and measure the impact in hours saved and volume handled per person.
- Communicate with clarity at every level, from writing the plans your team builds from to presenting to the CEO and our credit leadership.
📈 What You Bring:
- 3 to 6 years in product, with at least 2 in lending, payments, treasury, or fintech operations.
- Ownership of an underwriting, servicing, collections, or money movement workflow, including the controls around it.
- Experience working with capital markets counterparties, bank partners, or regulators on data and reporting requirements.
- Fluency with ledgers, reconciliation, and the accounting consequences of product decisions.
- A track record of replacing manual operations with product, measured in hours saved or volume handled per person.
- Clear written and spoken communication, with the ability to hold your own with executives, credit leadership, and creditors.
- An AI-native way of working. You reach for agents by default to prototype, analyze data, write specs, and build internal tools, and you can show what you’ve shipped that way.
- A deep understanding of the operational and financial stakes of every release.
Nice to have:
- Experience building with Stripe Treasury, Plaid, or similar money movement and bank data infrastructure.
- Background in construction, B2B receivables finance, or another vertical fintech.
- Experience shipping AI document extraction or decisioning into a regulated workflow.
💼 What We Offer:
- Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000 base salary.
- Equity ownership within Constrafor.
- Hybrid office schedule out of our beautiful Hudson Yards office.
- Medical, dental & vision insurance coverage offered for you and your dependents.
- Generous PTO Plan.
- Lunch provided during in office days.
- A collaborative and innovative work culture that values your input.
- Opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing tech company.
Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $130,000 – $150,000 per year.
