Toronto Pearson is transforming. Now’s the time for your career to fly.

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) is a unique and dynamic place to work, with a bold plan to make Toronto Pearson, Canada’s leading global hub airport, a global leader in airport performance, customer care and sustainability. Together with our partners, approximately 2,100 GTAA employees are working to create a next-generation airport by innovating in all we do and striving for the most uplifting, safe and efficient experience for our passengers – all while championing the prosperity of our people, the community we call home, and our aviation partners. Join us on our journey together, as we put the joy back into travel and make Toronto Pearson the chosen place to fly and work.

What's in it for you?

  • An opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive within a dynamic, and fast-growing company alongside thoughtful and passionate individuals dedicated to their work and community.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including a flexible retirement program with employer matching, along with voluntary savings options (RRSP, TFSA, and Non-Registered Savings Plans).
  • A flexible hybrid work environment, continuous internal and external learning opportunities, and a meaningful reward and recognition program.

What can you expect from this position?

Reporting to the Associate Director, Product Management, the Product Manager, Data & AI will translate business priorities into a portfolio of durable data, analytics and AI products that deliver measurable passenger, revenue and enterprise outcomes. You will own product discovery, multi-horizon roadmaps, intake and prioritization, requirements, backlogs, success measures and benefits realization across Customer Experience, Commercial and Enterprise portfolios.

Working closely with business leaders, data and analytics teams, and technology delivery partners, you will ensure products are valuable, technically credible, governed, supportable and ready for delivery. You will also help advance data-as-a-product practices and shape externally facing data and AI offerings for airport partners.

As a Product Manager, Data & AI, you will:

  • Build and maintain multi-horizon data and AI product roadmaps across Customer Experience, Commercial and Enterprise portfolios.
  • Lead structured ideation, intake and prioritization, ensuring opportunities are clearly sponsored, assessed and routed to the appropriate delivery path.
  • Lead product discovery with business stakeholders and end users to validate problems, workflows, assumptions, risks and expected value before solutions are committed.
  • Own product requirements and the Azure DevOps backlog at the Epic and Feature levels, ensuring work is ready for technical design and delivery.
  • Partner with delivery teams throughout implementation to resolve scope questions, evaluate trade-offs and validate outcomes against product requirements.
  • Ensure product decisions and documentation meet security, privacy, responsible AI, architecture, data governance, accessibility and audit requirements.
  • Define adoption, product health and value measures, and lead post-launch reviews to inform whether products should be enhanced, consolidated or retired.
  • Evolve Toronto Pearson's data-as-a-product framework, including ownership, consumers, service levels, documentation, quality expectations and lifecycle stages.
  • Develop business cases, ROI and cost-benefit assessments, manage product budgets, and support the growth of partner-facing data and AI offerings.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, strategy, or adjacent digital and technology work. Experience in an airport, transportation, infrastructure, operational, or regulated environment is considered an asset.
  • Experience delivering data, analytics or AI products in customer experience, commercial or revenue management, or enterprise functions such as HR, Finance, Legal or IT.
  • 4+ years of experience shaping and managing data, analytics, AI, platform or technically complex digital products from discovery through production, adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated success developing roadmaps, business cases, product requirements and prioritized backlogs that delivered measurable business outcomes.
  • Technical fluency in data engineering, data modelling, semantic models, business intelligence, analytics, machine learning, generative AI, APIs, MLOps and data quality.
  • Advanced experience with Azure DevOps and the ability to manage backlog health, dependencies, readiness, traceability and product documentation.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to assess revenue, cost, pricing, yield and unit-economics considerations.
  • Exceptional judgment, facilitation, negotiation, storytelling and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline; a master's degree, MBA or related graduate education is considered an asset.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.

The GTAA is committed to Employment Equity and maintaining a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.

This position is exempt from Ontario's 2026 pay transparency requirements under Regulation 476/24.
