Together with our partners, approximately 2,100 GTAA employees are working to create a next-generation airport by innovating in all we do and striving for the most uplifting, safe and efficient experience for our passengers – all while championing the prosperity of our people, the community we call home, and our aviation partners. Join us on our journey together, as we put the joy back into travel and make Toronto Pearson the chosen place to fly and work.

What's in it for you?

  • An opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive within a dynamic, and fast-growing company alongside thoughtful and passionate individuals dedicated to their work and community.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including a flexible retirement program with employer matching, along with voluntary savings options (RRSP, TFSA, and Non-Registered Savings Plans).
  • A flexible hybrid work environment, continuous internal and external learning opportunities, and a meaningful reward and recognition program.

What can you expect from this position?

Reporting to the Associate Director, Product Management, the Product Manager, Data & AI (Operations & Maintenance) will translate business priorities into durable data, analytics and AI products that deliver measurable operational, passenger and commercial outcomes. The portfolio spans airside and terminal operations, passenger processing and capacity, baggage, disruption response and recovery, safety, and facilities, asset and maintenance performance.

You will own product discovery, multi-horizon roadmaps, intake and prioritization, requirements, product backlogs, success measures and benefits realization. Working with operations and maintenance business owners, data and analytics teams, and technology delivery partners, you will ensure initiatives are valuable, feasible, governed, supportable and ready for delivery in a 24/7 operating environment.

As the Product Manager, Data & AI, you will:

  • Build and maintain multi-horizon data and AI product roadmaps across airside and terminal operations, passenger processing and capacity planning, baggage, airport operations control, disruption recovery, safety, facilities, asset management and maintenance.
  • Lead structured ideation, intake and prioritization, ensuring opportunities are sponsored, assessed and aligned with business strategy, annual planning and operational constraints.
  • Lead product discovery with business stakeholders and end users, including shift-based operations, control centre and maintenance teams, to validate problems, workflows, assumptions, risks and expected value.
  • Own product requirements and the Azure DevOps backlog at the Epic and Feature levels, ensuring work is ready for technical design and delivery.
  • Partner with delivery teams throughout implementation to resolve scope questions, assess trade-offs and validate outcomes against product requirements.
  • Ensure product decisions and documentation meet security, privacy, responsible AI, architecture, data governance, accessibility, safety and audit requirements.
  • Define adoption, product health and value measures such as throughput, wait times, on-time performance, asset availability, unplanned downtime and maintenance completion, and lead post-launch value reviews.
  • Advance Toronto Pearson's data-as-a-product framework, including ownership, consumers, service levels, documentation, quality expectations and lifecycle stages for products used in live operations.
  • Develop business cases, ROI and cost-benefit assessments, manage product budgets, and support partner-facing data and AI offerings.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, strategy, or adjacent digital and technology work.
  • 4+ years of experience shaping and managing data, analytics, AI, platform or technically complex digital products, including products built on operational, asset or maintenance data.
  • Experience in an airport, airline, transportation, infrastructure, utilities or another asset-intensive 24/7 operational or regulated environment is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated success developing multi-horizon roadmaps, business cases, product requirements and prioritized backlogs that delivered measurable outcomes.
  • Experience partnering with agile delivery teams and managing products through governance, testing, release, support transition and benefits realization.
  • Technical fluency in data engineering, lakehouse and medallion patterns, data modelling, business intelligence, analytics, machine learning, generative AI, APIs, MLOps and data quality, including real-time event streaming, sensor, time-series and operational telemetry data.
  • Advanced Azure DevOps capability, including backlog health, dependency visibility, readiness, traceability and product documentation.
  • Exceptional judgment, facilitation, negotiation, storytelling and cross-functional leadership, with the ability to communicate complex decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
