We’re Making Travel Effortless. Join Us. Travel is essential, whether it’s visiting family, starting a new adventure, or taking a career defining trip. Yet today, over 4 billion airline passengers rely on tech that hasn't changed in decades. At Duffel, we’re rebuilding the infrastructure underpinning the global travel industry. Backed by top-tier investors (Benchmark, Blossom, Index Ventures, and Kima Ventures) and born out of Y Combinator (S18), we’re simplifying complex systems to build the future of travel. Product Product at Duffel Flights is the heart of Duffel's flagship product. Through a single, beautifully designed API, our customers search across hundreds of airlines (NDC, GDS, and LCC), book and generate commission, sell ancillaries like bags and seats, and manage changes and cancellations — all backed by our own agency infrastructure, IATA/ARC accreditation, and ticketing authority. The Role As Product Manager for Flights, you'll tackle a deceptively hard challenge: take a fragmented, decades-old industry with hundreds of airlines and turn it into one clean, reliable, developer-friendly product. Working at the intersection of engineering, design, commercial, and airline partnerships, you will contribute to the roadmap for a core area of our surface and own how it gets built and delivered. What You’ll be doing: Shape and execute the core Flights roadmap, from search and booking to ancillaries: balancing customer needs, commercial impact, and technical reality. Partner closely with engineering counterparts to break down roadmap items, drive sprint delivery, and balance tech debt with new feature investments. Conduct continuous discovery with customers and developers, translating complex industry friction into well-prioritised product requirements. Deeply analyse data, debug API integrations, and define clear success metrics to ensure features deliver real value, not just releases. Collaborate with airlines and suppliers to transform varied legacy systems and content into consistent, reliable user experiences. What we're looking for: 3–5 years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipping technical products end-to-end. Domain expertise in airline systems (NDC, GDS, LCC, PSS, or similar) and comfortable working directly with APIs and data models. Strong data-driven mindset, capable of making sound, evidence-based prioritisation calls even with incomplete data. Exceptional cross-functional project management and communication skills to simplify complex technical systems for non-technical stakeholders. Collaborative mindset with a strong point of view, willing to get your hands dirty while remaining open to feedback. What you'll be working on Translating Duffel’s overarching strategy and customer feedback into a clear, actionable roadmap alongside the Group PM. Designing consistent developer experiences over complex, multi-supplier airline architectures. Establishing and monitoring key metrics to measure feature adoption and continuous platform improvements. Aligning third-party supplier roadmaps with Duffel's strategic goals to unlock new capabilities first. Communicating weekly progress, delivery status, and priorities to key internal and external stakeholders. Why You’ll Love Working at Duffel We believe in true ownership.
