Make a measurable and mission-critical impact. Join us on the Product Management team as a Product Manager – Integrations & API’s , and help shape the future of safer, more efficient, and more reliable operations across the globe. Start your journey with Anova today ! Role Summary: The Product Manager owns a significant product domain within Anova Unify — from multi-year strategy through to execution, adoption, and business outcomes. You set the vision for your area, build conviction through deep customer and market insight, and drive delivery in close partnership with engineering and design. You operate with a high degree of autonomy, influence roadmap direction across the broader product organization, and are a go-to thought partner for senior leadership. This role's center of gravity is outcomes — customer value realized, revenue retained and grown, and platform capability that compounds over time. You're as comfortable in a customer conversation as you are in a data model discussion or a board-level briefing. You mentor more junior PMs and raise the bar for how the team thinks about product quality, discovery rigor, and measurable impact. Where you’ll work: This is a hybrid role based out of our Porto office. In practice, most of your work can be done remotely, with occasional in-office time in Porto for team collaboration — a flexibility our team consistently tell us they value. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Lead deep customer discovery. Design and run ongoing discovery programs — interviews, site visits, usage analysis, win/loss reviews. Develop a differentiated point of view on what customers need, what they'll pay for, and what will create durable competitive advantage. Own the go-to-market. Define pricing and positioning for your area in partnership with Marketing and Sales leadership. Enable the field with competitive intelligence, winning narratives, and objection handling. Set domain strategy. Define the multi-year product vision for your area. Ground it in customer insight, competitive dynamics, and Anova's strategic priorities. Build and maintain the roadmap with clear outcome targets. Drive AI-first product thinking. Identify where ML and AI (forecasting, anomaly detection, decision support, workflow automation) create meaningful customer value in your domain. Build a clear point of view on what to build, what to buy, and what to partner for — and move it from idea to shipped capability. Partner with engineering on architecture and trade-offs. Engage credibly on system design, API contracts, data models, and integration architecture. Make principled trade-offs between scope, speed, and technical quality — and document your reasoning. Reason across the full stack. Understand how Anova's physical devices, connectivity layer, and cloud platform interact — and make product decisions that account for hardware constraints, firmware cycles, and sensor data quality, not just software capabilities. Shape the customer success motion. Codify what success looks like for customers in your domain. Influence the playbooks, onboarding milestones, health scoring, and AI-assisted scale programs that Customer Success runs. Mentor and develop PMs. Coach junior and mid-level PMs on discovery methods, spec quality, prioritization discipline, and stakeholder communication. Model the standard for written PM artifacts across the team. Enable adoption. With each release, ensure the team is ready to help customers get value from what you've shipped. Outcomes you'll own: Anova leads customer insight amongst the IoT market. Your work toward understanding customers, their processes, and how IoT transforms their business, will keep Anova the leading player that best understands how IoT leads to our customer's value in servicing their customers. Platform growth and customer value realization. Your domain drives measurable customer outcomes — reduced operating costs, faster time-to-value, or expanded use cases. You track and improve these metrics continuously. Greater than 90% customer device productivity. Through solving real value-adding problems for customers, providing best in class reliable uptime, drive customers to maintain their device portfolio live and healthy. Net Revenue Retention. Customers in your area renew, expand, and advocate. You own the product-side inputs to NRR — adoption, engagement, and satisfaction — and make disciplined trade-offs to protect gross margin. Roadmap quality and conviction. A rigorous, evidence-backed roadmap that the organization trusts. You can defend every priority with data, customer insight, and a clear strategic rationale. Cross-functional alignment. Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing are aligned on what's being built and why. Ambiguity is resolved upstream, not during delivery. Team development. You raise the craft of product management around you — through direct mentorship of PMs, strong written artifacts others learn from, and a culture of honest, evidence-based decision-making. How you'll work at Anova: You write to think. Specs, strategy memos, one-pagers, and decision frameworks are how we align a global, distributed team. Your written artifacts are models others reference. AI can help; writing well remains your skill to own. You use AI as leverage . You're fluent with LLMs for research, synthesis, drafting, and analysis. You have a seasoned, nuanced point of view on where AI should — and shouldn't — show up in B2B industrial products, and you actively shape Anova's perspective on both. You reason from data. You define the metric before you ship the feature. You build the instrumentation plan alongside the spec. You know when data is sufficient to decide and when it isn't. What you’ll need to succeed: Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience with APIs, systems integration, and software deployment. 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with direct ownership of product strategy and business outcomes. 10+ years of total professional experience, spanning product management, software engineering, systems integration, or comparable technical roles. You've built from scratch more than once — new products, new markets, new internal capabilities — and you have the experience to prove it. The more times you've started from nothing and shipped something that mattered, the better. Demonstrated track record of shipping SaaS or enterprise software that drove material business results — measured in adoption, retention, or revenue. Experience owning multi-year product strategy and translating it into a prioritized, evidence-backed roadmap. Deep customer discovery practice — structured interview programs, synthesis frameworks, and the ability to build conviction from ambiguous signals. Demonstrated experience using AI and LLM tools in a product management context — for research, synthesis, spec drafting, competitive analysis, data work, or customer insight. A clear, developed point of view on how AI should show up in B2B industrial products — both in internal operations and in customer-facing capability. Ability to write compelling, structured strategy documents, specs, and narratives for executive and cross-functional audiences. Strong technical fluency — able to engage credibly on APIs, data models, integration architecture, and system trade-offs with engineering leaders. Data fluency: design metrics frameworks, build instrumentation plans, analyze data in BI tools, and make evidence-based roadmap calls. Experience influencing pricing and go-to-market decisions for a product area. Preferred Qualifications - Prior product management in IIoT, connected-hardware, or industrial technology environments. Experience shipping ML or AI-driven features — forecasting, anomaly detection, decision support, or workflow automation — in a SaaS environment. Background in venture or private-equity-backed high-growth industrial technology companies. Experience mentoring or managing junior PMs or leading a product pod. Domain knowledge in industrial operations, field service, supply chain, or logistics. Experience with enterprise integration patterns — ERP, dispatch, routing, or billing system connectivity. Physical Requirements - Willingness and ability to travel up to 30–40% domestically and internationally. Travel won’t consistently be 30-40%, however at times this individual must be able to travel up to that percentage monthly Ability to perform typical office tasks, including sitting or standing for extended periods, using a computer, communicating effectively, and occasionally lifting light items ABOUT ANOVA We are very proudly “one” Anova — built by integrating the best in IIoT technology and expertise.
