Who We Are Looking For:

Every day, Cambia’s dedicated team of Data Product Managers are living our mission to make health care easier and lives better. This role will help advance a product domain that connects MedInsight data, enriched data products, semantic intelligence, and AI-enabled analytics to practical business outcomes.

You’ll report to the Assistant Director of Data & Analytics Products and work alongside product managers, developers, analysts, and engineering squads.

This is a role for a collaborative data and analytics practitioner who understands healthcare data, can translate actuarial and analytic needs into clear product direction, and is passionate about building a real data, semantics, and agentic stack on a modern data platform that is usable and consumable across the enterprise — deep in the technology as a practitioner, and senior enough to understand and move the business.

Depending on experience, this role may be scoped as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager. You will help advance inbound and outbound MedInsight data capabilities and enhancements to enriched data products, while contributing as a product generalist across actuarial analytics, semantic intelligence, AI-enabled workflows, automated insight discovery, governed self-service analytics, and agentic solutions that support analytic service management.

Do you have a passion for serving others and learning new things? Then this role may be the perfect fit.

What You Bring to Cambia:

Qualifications:

The Data Product Manager II would have a BA/BS in Business Administration or relevant field with 6+ years' experience in a product management position in healthcare or equivalent combination of education and experience. For technology specific roles experience in consumer-facing software & services or a start-up environment preferred. MBA preferred.

The Data Product Manager III would have a BA/BS in Business Administration or relevant field with 8+ years' experience in a product management position in healthcare, or equivalent combination of education and experience. For technology specific roles experience in consumer-facing software & services or a start-up environment preferred. MBA preferred.

Skills and Attributes:

Technical credibility — working fluency in SQL and modern data platforms (Snowflake preferred), dimensional modeling concepts, semantic layers, data quality, lineage, and BI/visualization tools (SIGMA a plus, or the drive to learn it immediately).

Data and analytics product experience — experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, analytics, BI, healthcare data, or vendor-enriched data products, with the ability to translate business needs, analytic methodology, and data quality considerations into practical product outcomes. Able to prioritize high-value work, make delivery tradeoffs, and calibrate approach based on scope and experience.

AI and semantic product interest — experience with, exposure to, or strong interest in generative AI, semantic layers, automation, agentic analytics, and AI-enabled analytic workflows within a data and analytics ecosystem. Brings sound judgment on responsible AI practices; familiarity with Snowflake, Cortex Code, Snowflake CoWork, and Agent Studio preferred.

Influence, communication, and stakeholder partnership — able to frame complex analytical insights, methodology questions, and data tradeoffs in ways that support clear decisions across product, engineering, actuarial, vendor, and business stakeholders. Communicates concisely, partners effectively across remote and cross-functional teams, and navigates complex or sensitive issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness.

Healthcare payer, MedInsight, and actuarial analytics fluency — hands-on experience with payer data domains including claims, eligibility/enrollment, member exposure, provider, product/benefit, revenue, and analytic consumption patterns, with working knowledge of MedInsight or adjacent payer analytics concepts such as PMPM, PkPMY, member months, unit cost, completion factors, benchmarking, trend, utilization, risk adjustment, attribution, population definitions, episode/grouping logic, and fit-for-purpose analytic validation.

What You Will Do at Cambia:

    • Own MedInsight product strategy and roadmap — shape the vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for inbound Milliman-enriched data, outbound MedInsight extracts, Healthcare Intelligence views, and related enriched data products that serve actuarial, analytics, and operational consumers.

    • Manage MedInsight operational readiness and product support — own the product lens for MedInsight enhancements, defects, releases, vendor delivery questions, validation findings, stakeholder escalations, and change communications, ensuring data products are understandable, reliable, well-documented, and fit for analytic use.

    • Translate analytic needs into deliverable requirements — convert complex business objectives, actuarial methodology, data lineage, data quality needs, and analytic consumption patterns into clear product requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities that engineering and analytics squads can execute.

    • Advance semantic, AI-enabled, and self-service capabilities — guide product input for governed semantic layers, AI-powered insight discovery, automated data discovery, agentic self-service, analytic service management, and responsible AI practices that make MedInsight data easier to understand and use.

    • Partner across business, technology, and vendor teams — work with Actuarial, Healthcare Informatics, Finance, Clinical, Care Management, Provider Analytics, Engineering, Data Governance, Architecture, Operations, and Milliman partners to identify high-value MedInsight opportunities and align on practical solutions.

    • Lead cross-functional delivery and tradeoff decisions — collaborate with developers, analysts, BSAs, QA, program management, engineering, governance, architecture, operations, and vendor partners to manage dependencies, resolve ambiguity, and move complex product decisions forward.

    • Drive adoption, governance, and measurable impact — measure product success, analyze usage, improve data quality and trust, support access governance, strengthen supportability, and communicate how MedInsight products improve analytic effectiveness and business outcomes.

Pay ranges vary based on the candidate's work location. The expected hiring range depends on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history.
