Televic Conference develops mission critical conference and interpretation technology for parliaments, governments, courts, city councils and corporations worldwide.
We operate in specialized markets where customer requirements are complex, buying decisions involve multiple stakeholders, and trust, reliability and differentiation matter.
About the role
As Product & Market Intelligence Specialist, you support Televic Conference to understand its markets, customers and competitors, and turn that understanding into winning commercial decisions.
You investigate why customers choose us, how competitors position themselves and where market needs are evolving. You combine customer conversations, sales feedback, competitive research and quantitative data to identify patterns and make actionable recommendations.
Your job is to connect evidence to decisions.
You challenge assumptions, distinguish facts from hypotheses and explain what the findings mean for our positioning, target markets, product launches and sales approach.
You work closely with the Head of Product Marketing, who owns product marketing strategy, positioning and priorities. You provide the evidence and recommendations that inform those decisions.
You also collaborate with Sales, Product Management, R&D, Customer Success and Growth Marketing to ensure that insights are grounded in real customer and commercial experience.
You use AI and modern research tools to work efficiently, but you apply critical judgment to sources, data quality and conclusions.
Responsibilities
Competitive intelligence
● Monitor priority competitors, including their positioning, messaging, product launches, claims and relevant pricing signals.
● Maintain a structured view of competitor strengths, weaknesses, differentiators and market activity.
● Prepare concise competitor updates that highlight what has changed, why it matters and what Televic Conference should consider doing.
● Own the evidence and analysis behind competitive battlecards and competitor comparisons, working with Content & Creative on presentation and design.
● Prepare and facilitate competitive intelligence sessions, including Sparks workshops, to share findings and challenge internal assumptions.
● Keep competitive materials current and relevant to the needs of Sales and Product Management.
2. Customer insights and win/loss analysis
● Establish and run a structured win/loss analysis process in collaboration with Sales.
● Analyze why opportunities are won, lost, delayed or abandoned, identifying recurring patterns across customers, competitors and verticals.
● Conduct customer and partner interviews to understand buying criteria, unmet needs, objections and decision making processes.
● Map relevant stakeholders, buying journeys and evaluation criteria within priority verticals.
● Combine qualitative feedback with CRM and opportunity data to distinguish individual opinions from recurring patterns.
● Translate findings into recommendations for positioning, sales enablement, targeting and future research.
3. Market and vertical intelligence
● Research market potential and opportunity across priority verticals and regions, using appropriate TAM, SAM and SOM frameworks where the available data supports credible estimates.
● Monitor relevant technology developments, customer needs, regulation, public procurement and tender trends.
● Identify changes in buying behavior, competitive dynamics and market requirements that could affect Televic Conference's commercial opportunities.
● Develop evidence based inputs for ideal customer profiles, buyer personas and vertical playbooks.
● Make research limitations, assumptions and confidence levels explicit, especially when reliable market data is limited.
● Recommend where further research would materially improve a business decision.
4. Product and customer insights
● Gather and synthesize customer feedback relevant to product positioning, adoption and market needs.
● Work with Product Management, R&D and Customer Success to understand relevant product feedback and adoption signals.
● Analyze software and product adoption data where reliable tracking is available, and identify meaningful patterns or potential barriers to adoption.
● Translate relevant findings from customer satisfaction feedback into implications for messaging, positioning and sales enablement, while Customer Success retains ownership of the overall satisfaction program.
● Help Product Marketing understand which product capabilities, proof points and customer outcomes matter most to priority audiences.
5. Product marketing and launch support
● Provide market, customer and competitive evidence for product positioning, value propositions and launch briefs.
● Support the Head of Product Marketing in prioritizing audiences, verticals and use cases.
● Coordinate the readiness checklist for tier 2 product launches, ensuring that required inputs, materials and stakeholders are aligned.
● Provide research and competitive content for sales presentations, battlecards and Sales Track training.
● Help identify gaps in the evidence needed to support a product claim or commercial message.
● Ensure that recommendations are clearly distinguished from final positioning and launch decisions, which remain with the Head of Product Marketing.
6. Recommendations and impact tracking
● Produce concise insight briefs that explain the question, key finding, supporting evidence, commercial implication and recommended next step.
● Present findings clearly to Product Marketing, Sales, Product Management and leadership, adapting the level of detail to the audience.
● Maintain a decision log recording which recommendations were accepted, rejected or tested, why decisions were made and what changed as a result.
● Follow up on priority recommendations to assess whether they were implemented and whether the expected outcome materialized.
● Manage the day to day research budget within the agreed plan, including research tools, market reports and external research support.
● Use AI assisted research and analysis responsibly, checking source quality, evidence and factual accuracy.
Your profile
Must haves
● Four to seven years experience in product marketing, market intelligence, commercial strategy, business analysis or consulting.

● Confidence interviewing customers, partners and internal stakeholders, including asking difficult questions and testing assumptions.
● Ability to understand technical products, complex buying processes and unfamiliar markets quickly.
● Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to explain complex findings concisely.
● Experience using AI assisted research tools and analytical tools such as Excel; familiarity with BI or CRM reporting is an advantage.
● A structured and independent working style, with sound judgment about which questions deserve investigation.
● The ability to present and defend recommendations while remaining open to new evidence.

● Experience with HubSpot or another CRM platform.
● Experience facilitating workshops and presenting findings to commercial stakeholders.
● Dutch and/or French language skills.
