Your role in our shared journey
Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you’ll join our Apparel & Accessories production team and take ownership of a set of factories from the moment a purchase order is placed until the goods are booked for shipment. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll be the first person your factories call when something comes up, and the link between them, our global production teams and the regional customers who are waiting for the product.
Our apparel business is growing fast, and we’ve reshaped this role so you can get ahead of problems before they happen. That means sharing forecasts with factories, securing capacity early and understanding what’s really happening on their production lines. You’ll have a real say in how your factories perform, inside a small team that relies on each other every day.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- End-to-End Production Ownership: Own your assigned apparel and accessories factories from purchase order placement to shipment booking, keeping every order on track and on time.
- Capacity & Forecast Planning:Share forecasts with factories, arrange capacity in advance and build a strong understanding of what each factory can deliver.
- Factory Partnership: Be the go-to contact for your factories on anything that comes up, from orders and capacity to quality and production issues.
- Issue Resolution:Understand what’s going on inside the factory, from line set-up to quality procedures, spot delays early and drive the fix with the factory and internal teams.
- KPI Reporting: Track delivery performance, lead times and capacity, and turn the data into clear reports that help internal teams make decisions.
- Factory Strategy & Improvement:Help improve factory performance and production processes aligned with ASICS manufacturing initiatives and help us move to a new SAP-based order system in 2027.

You have the following skills:
- Hands-on knowledge of how a garment factory works: the production steps, how lines are set up, quality procedures and the role materials play. You’ve seen apparel production first-hand.
- Experience in production, sourcing, quality or product creation roles, working closely with factories.
- Confident, proactive communication: you build real relationships with factory managers and keep head office and regional teams up to date.
- An organised, independent way of working: you take ownership of a long to-do list and escalate early when something is off track.
- Solid Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, to track orders and report status to the business.
- A critical eye for process, with ideas on how things could run better.
- Experience in the apparel or textile industry.
- Experience with SAP is a real plus, as we’re moving to a new SAP-based order system in 2027. Capacity planning or production reporting tools also help.
- Genuine curiosity about ASICS products and the world of sport.
