Role Description The Professional Driver role at Amerigulf is a full-time hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with some work-from-home tasks such as route planning and reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating company trucks to transport avocados and related products safely and efficiently to clients, following assigned routes and delivery schedules. The driver will perform basic vehicle inspections, ensure proper loading and securing of products, maintain delivery documentation, and adhere to local traffic and safety regulations. The role also involves communicating with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers, providing courteous service at delivery locations, and promptly reporting any delays, incidents, or vehicle issues. The Professional Driver is expected to support smooth logistics operations and represent Amerigulf professionally during all client interactions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong truck driving skills and experience operating commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
• Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A (or equivalent heavy vehicle license recognized in the UAE) and a clean driving record.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, warehouse staff, and clients.
• Candidates should possess customer service skills to ensure professional, courteous interactions at delivery locations.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of basic vehicle checks, safety procedures, and compliance with local transport regulations.
• Relevant qualifications such as prior experience in logistics or delivery driving within the UAE are beneficial.
• Ability to read delivery documents, use navigation tools, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules is preferred.
• Physical ability to load/unload goods and handle manual tasks safely is required.
