Vielfältige Aufgaben

Your Tasks / Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain ABAP / ABAP OO solutions across the grid construction process: projects (PS, WBS elements), PM/CS orders, procurement and service entry (MM), measurement and billing.
  • Build and evolve OData services (SAP Gateway, RAP) consumed by our React-based web portal through an Azure API layer.
  • Evolve and contribute to a large custom-code landscape towards Clean Core, using CDS, code pushdown, released APIs and ABAP Unit.
  • Implement and maintain integrations via RFC/BAPI and OData with surrounding SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, IS-U) and non-SAP systems.
  • Analyze incidents and change requests in productive S/4HANA systems, with a focus on stability, authorization, performance and data quality in a critical-infrastructure environment.
  • Work in a Git-based workflow (abapGit, Azure DevOps) together with architects, product owners and operations, and share knowledge through documentation.

Überzeugendes Profil

Your Profile (Competence and qualification, must-have, nice to have):
  • Strong programming skills in ABAP / ABAP OO, 3+ years of hands-on project experience
  • Practical experience in at least one of: SAP PS, PM/CS order management, MM purchasing / service entry
  • Solid knowledge of CDS views and OData services (SAP Gateway and/or RAP)
  • Experience with RFC/BAPI-based integrations
  • Structured, self-reliant working style with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams
Nice to have
  • ABAP Cloud / RAP and Clean Core concepts
  • abapGit / Git, ABAP Unit, ATC
  • Background in utilities, grid operators or infrastructure
  • SAP Integration Suite / Event Mesh
  • Experience with third-party solutions for construction tendering, award and billing, or with document and file management systems integrated into SAP
Language Skills:
  • Excellent English (B2 or higher)
  • German is a plus. Part of our business documentation is in German.
  • Portuguese is a plus

About the department:
We see ourselves as the IT backbone of the energy transition. The expansion of electricity and gas distribution grids is one of its biggest levers, and we digitalize the processes behind it.
Within our Cluster “Bau” initiative, we build and run the IT landscape for grid construction end to end:
  • planning a construction measure
  • tendering and awarding contracts to construction companies
  • execution on site
  • measurement, service entry and billing
Two further processes run alongside: new house connections for customers, and high-voltage grid projects. SAP S/4HANA is the core platform of this landscape. Our custom ABAP solutions serve a web portal used by internal staff and external construction partners, connected through an Azure-based API layer.
To keep evolving this landscape, we are strengthening our team with an SAP Developer who enjoys working on business-critical processes in a collaborative, international environment.
