The Australian Government has announced the stabilisation of existing business registers and their transfer from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) back to ASIC, under the RegistryConnect (RC) Program. This program aims to deliver reliable, secure, trusted, and efficient registry services to support the economy for the benefit of all Australians.

  • Salary from $127,444 to $144,946 (depending on experience) + 15.4 % superannuation

The team

The RegistryConnect Program Office (PO) is responsible for overseeing the delivery of ASIC's RegistryConnect Program, which aims to modernise and stabilise ASIC's registry services. The Program Office plays a pivotal role in enabling scheduling, monitoring, reporting for the program, supporting completion to scope, on time and within budget.

The role

As the Program Analyst working within the RegistryConnect Program Office you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery and day to day operations of the program, with a particular focus on resource planning, workforce coordination and resource management.

More Specifically, You Will

  • Manage resource planning and allocation activities across the program, including monitoring utilisation, analysing resource trends and providing reporting insights to support decision making by Program Leadership, the Portfolio Office and governance committees.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding activities across the program, including maintaining organisational structures, coordinating workforce movements, and managing onboarding information and supporting documentation.
  • Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of program and project governance frameworks, templates and processes that align with industry best practice, ASIC standards and policy requirements and withstand external assurance reviews and audits.
  • Coordinate program governance forums, workshops and meetings, including preparing agendas, managing committee papers, recording minutes, tracking actions and facilitating follow up activities.
  • Develop program and portfolio reporting, presentations and briefing materials, including the preparation of papers for Steering Committees and other governance bodies.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in supporting the evolving needs of the program, contributing across a broad range of Program Office functions to enable successful delivery outcomes.

About You

The ideal candidate for the Program Analyst role is a proactive and highly organised professional with experience supporting large scale transformation programs. You will possess strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights that inform decision making. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you are adaptable, collaborative and capable of managing competing priorities while delivering high quality outcomes with minimal supervision.

In Addition, You Will Have

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role supporting the successful delivery of large scale programs or complex portfolios of work.
  • Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies, frameworks, and deliverables. Relevant certifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, or equivalent would be highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to develop clear, insightful and visually engaging reports and dashboards using data from multiple sources.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Power BI.
  • Proven ability to contribute effectively across a broad range of activities within a dynamic and fast paced program environment.
  • Highly self motivated, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take accountability for delivering outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
