About Acast
Since 2014, Acast has been building the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, creating the technology that connects podcast creators, advertisers, and listeners. Its marketplace spans more than 140,000 podcasts, 3,300 advertisers, and one billion quarterly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen—across any podcast app or listening platform.
About the role
We’re looking for a commercially driven and ambitious Programmatic Sales Manager to join our UK sales team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, proactive salesperson with a passion for podcasts, digital audio and advertising. You’ll be responsible for developing agency relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities and driving revenue growth across Acast’s digital audio offering, with a particular focus on programmatic audio and podcast advertising.
Working across the UK agency landscape, you’ll help grow Acast’s programmatic proposition, selling digital audio and podcast advertising solutions through programmatic audio, talent-voiced ads and emerging formats. You'll work closely with our wider sales, programmatic, Ad Operations and creative teams to develop effective solutions for advertisers and agencies.
Programmatic experience is preferred, but we're equally interested in strong digital audio and podcast salespeople with the commercial drive and curiosity to develop within this space.
What you'll do
Deliver and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, identifying opportunities to grow Acast's digital audio and programmatic business.
Build and develop strong relationships across media agencies, engaging stakeholders at all levels across planning, investment, activation and trading teams.
Proactively identify new business opportunities, develop agency relationships and take new products and formats to market.
Sell Acast's digital audio and podcast advertising solutions, with a focus on programmatic audio, talent-voiced ads (TVAs) and other emerging formats.
Respond to agency briefs and develop compelling commercial proposals that meet advertiser objectives.
Maintain a strong presence across the agency market through regular meetings, presentations, events and proactive engagement.
Work closely with direct sales, Ad Operations and creative teams to ensure Acast's solutions are integrated into wider agency and client strategies.
Stay on top of industry trends, agency buying behaviours and developments across podcasting, digital audio and programmatic advertising.
Who you are
3+ years' experience in a media sales or digital advertising sales role and an understanding of digital audio and the wider digital advertising ecosystem.
A confident and commercially minded salesperson with a proven track record of delivering revenue and exceeding targets.
Well connected within the media agency landscape, with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
Proactive, tenacious and comfortable identifying opportunities and taking new products to market.
A confident presenter with strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised, commercially curious and able to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
Passionate about podcasts, digital audio and the evolving advertising landscape.
Programmatic advertising experience is preferred but not essential.
Experience working with Ad Operations or campaign delivery teams would be advantageous.
