Programme Coordinator – Education & Sport

We are looking for a visionary Programme Lead – Education & Sport to steward impactful developmental pathways for the young people and communities that need them most.

In this role, you will lead and protect the depth, quality, and long-term impact of the Kolisi Foundation's Education & Sport focus area. You will manage trusted implementing partners, integrating early learning, physical activity, and leadership frameworks to build thriving, resilient communities starting from the ground up.

The Tech Stack Deep-Dive

While this isn't a software engineering role, we take our operational toolkit, domain expertise, and methodologies very seriously:

• Domain Expertise (Must-Haves): Early Childhood Development (ECD), Sport-for-Development, Youth Development, or Education Programming.
• Safeguarding & Governance (Must-Haves): Child safeguarding principles, risk mitigation, and community-level protection/referral pathways.
• Operations & Delivery (Must-Haves): Multi-stakeholder management (schools, coaches, funders), site-level monitoring, and partner performance management.
• Frameworks & Analytics (Nice-to-Haves): Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) frameworks and data-driven programme optimization.
• Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of sector experience, a clear criminal record, a valid driver's licence, and a willingness to travel regularly to project sites.

Key Responsibilities (Keep it brief)

• Architect Pathways: Direct the Education & Sport pathway, ensuring seamless integration between early learning, sport-for-development, and youth leadership.
• Partner & Program Quality: Oversee delivery partners, strengthen instructional/coaching quality, and enforce rigorous child safeguarding standards.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate directly with Food Security and GBV Programme Leads to deliver unified, site-level impact across all Foundation initiatives.
• Data-Driven Iteration: Elevate reporting data to continuously sharpen and evolve on-the-ground programming.
