We have an exciting opportunity for a diligent and process-driven individual to join our Programming team as a Programming Rights Coordinator. Supporting programme rights management, content tracking and scheduling across Hearst Networks UK's channels and platforms, this role could be a great fit for you if you are looking to begin your career in television operations, content rights or media management.
Reporting to the Editor, Content & Commissioning, you will work closely with Programming, Scheduling, Content Management, Finance, Legal, Operations and US Programming teams to ensure programme rights, metadata and scheduling information are accurately maintained throughout the content lifecycle. In this role your time will mainly be split between rights operations and stakeholder coordination, whilst you will also be responsible for accurate administration and data entry, and some analysis and reporting.
Full training will be provided across our rights management systems and processes. We're looking for someone who is organised, enjoys working with processes and data, has excellent attention to detail and is eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a permanent contract position. This role will be hybrid based in the London office 3 days per week Tuesday-Thursday, supporting award-winning brands like Sky HISTORY, Crime+Investigation and BLAZE.
Key responsibilities:
Support the Editor, Content & Commissioning by coordinating the end-to-end rights management process for programming across UK and EMEA territories.
Ensure rights data remains accurate across systems, trackers and multiple territories, resolving discrepancies where required.
Support the administration of linear and non-linear programme rights across Hearst Networks UK.
Coordinate content orders and monitor programme deliveries, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Support the Editor, Content & Commissioning in the day-to-day administration related to the Scheduling, Content Management, Finance, Legal, Operations, Marketing, PR and Digital teams.
Produce reports, maintain departmental trackers and act as a key contact for internal stakeholders to respond to rights and programming queries.
Assist with ad hoc projects, process improvements and departmental initiatives.
Build effective relationships across Programming, Scheduling, Content Management, Finance, Legal, Marketing and Operations, escalating issues where appropriate.

Essential Skills / Knowledge:
Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Confident working with varied detailed information, keeping records accurate and up to date, and learning new information systems and processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proactive, positive and eager to learn.
Methodical approach with good problem-solving skills.
Interest in television, media or content operations.
Desirable Requirements:
Administrative or co-ordination experience.
Experience using databases or content management systems.
Understanding of television scheduling, programming or media rights.
