POSITION SUMMARY
Heritage HR Ltd., a member of Heritage Holdings Group, is looking for a motivated Project Coordinator – Construction who is ready to turn their technical education into practical construction experience.
This is an opportunity for an early-career construction professional or recent graduate who is curious, organized, willing to learn and comfortable taking ownership. You will work alongside experienced project and site teams, gaining hands-on exposure to residential and commercial projects from pre-construction through handover.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support Project Managers in coordinating construction and development projects, keeping actions, milestones and approvals moving.
- Maintain accurate project information in Procore, including drawings, RFIs, submittals and project records.
- Work with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to follow up actions, solve problems and keep projects on track.
- Spend regular time on active sites, developing practical knowledge while monitoring work against drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards.
- Support QA/QC inspections, snagging and close-out, identifying issues and helping drive them through to resolution.
- Gain practical exposure to procurement, cost tracking, material take-offs, project reporting and handover activities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Recent graduates and candidates with limited construction experience are welcome; internship or site experience is an advantage.
- A proactive, accountable and curious approach, with a genuine desire to learn how construction projects are delivered.
- Strong organization, communication, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to ask questions and follow through.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; exposure to Procore or similar construction-management software is an advantage.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in both office and active construction-site environments and take increasing responsibility as your capability develops.
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
- Salary: CI$32,000 to $42,000 per annum
- Working Hours: 45 hours per week
- Benefits: Benefits that meet or exceed Labour Act standards.
