  • About The Role

  • Project Coordinator CYP and CEDAR Create

This full-time (1.0 FTE) post is available from 1st January 2027 on a fixed term contract until 31st December 2027, within Clinical Education Development and Research (CEDAR).

Starting salary from £33,951 on Grade E, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.

The faculty wishes to recruit a Project Coordinator in support of developing, implementing, and coordinating CEDAR and CEDAR Create project activity.

The Project Coordinator will support the Director of Create and the CYP Portfolio directors with the day-to-day running of the project and is the key point of contact for any data requests, monitoring and evaluation of the project. They will liaise with all stakeholders and funders to ensure that the project runs smoothly.

CEDAR is an applied psychological centre of excellence whose core mission is to grow and develop the psychological workforce, maximising impact through training and development, service transformation alongside research and evaluation. In doing so, we aim to ensure access to evidence based psychological practice that leads to positive outcomes for service-users, service providers and funders across England and beyond. CEDAR’s training activity and clinical impact is supported, developed, and advanced through CEDAR Create, delivering concomitant consultation, research, evaluation, analytics and CPD activity resulting in significant benefits to the provision of psychological support.

The primary aim of the role is to provide project coordination, events support and effective partner communications relating to the activity of CEDAR’s Children and Young Peoples (CYP) clinical training portfolio and the CEDAR Create project portfolio. The role will engage with individuals and partnership services within CEDAR’s Community of Practice (CoP) regionally, nationally, and internationally. You will work with the CYP Directors of Portfolio, the Director of CEDAR Create and the CYP Clinical Lead to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of CPD programmes in accordance with CEDAR’s education strategy and the CYP Community of Practice (CoP) Terms of References

The Project Coordinator will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate events, manage a rolling CPD training programme, respond to programme and project enquiries and support the communication and delivery off key training and practice priorities. In collaboration with key partners, this role will support the coordination and implementation of activity related to key training initiatives for the mental health workforce and progress service provision across a range of services (including statutory, VCS and private organisations) with an emphasis on developing effective partnership working, best practice principles, transparency and consistency.
