EU Pay Transparency Directive

Pay rates are reviewed annually using a combination of external market benchmarking and internal data to ensure they are competitive, fair, and compliant with pay transparency legislation. Market data is sourced from platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and industry salary reports, alongside internal insights including historical recruitment trends and candidate expectations.

In addition to market data, salary ranges are determined using objective, role-related criteria. These include the skills required for the role, the level of effort and complexity involved, the degree of responsibility and accountability, and the working conditions associated with the position. Where relevant, educational background, professional qualifications, and training requirements are also considered.

Roles are evaluated using a structured job levelling framework to ensure consistency in how positions are assessed across the organisation. This framework supports fair and consistent pay decisions but does not, in itself, determine salary ranges.
