Project Engineer / Civil Engineer

Role Description The Project Engineer / Civil Engineer will work part time in a remote capacity, supporting the planning and execution of civil engineering projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, assisting with site development plans, and contributing to stormwater management solutions. The role involves coordinating with project stakeholders, interpreting technical drawings and specifications, and ensuring that project activities align with applicable standards and regulations. The engineer will also support quality control efforts by monitoring documentation, reviewing calculations, and identifying areas for improvement in design and implementation.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with the ability to develop and review technical plans.
• Experience in Site Development, including layout planning and infrastructure coordination.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management practices and related regulatory requirements.
• Quality Control skills to assess project deliverables and maintain compliance with standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar tools).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience with regional or international building codes and environmental regulations is an advantage.
