About NuCare API

NuCare API is a pharmaceutical sourcing and distribution company — we supply active pharmaceutical ingredients to compounding pharmacies, physicians, and hospitals. Our tech department runs several projects that support the wider organization, and we're hiring a contract project manager to keep them organized.

The Role

We have a few projects moving at once: a provider-facing web portal, an ERP-based operations backend, and integrations between them and outside systems. Requirements usually come from sales and operations people, not engineers. The job is to take those requirements, turn them into scoped tickets engineers can build, and keep track of who is doing what across all of it.

Day to day

• Talk to sales, operations, and engineering, and translate between them

• Break projects down into small, clearly written tickets

• Track progress across work streams and flag blockers early

• Keep stakeholders informed without pulling engineers into extra meetings

What we need

• Experience running multiple concurrent projects with an engineering team

• Clear writing — most of this job is written communication

• Comfort with ambiguity: requirements arrive messy, and you make them precise

• Enough technical understanding to write tickets developers don't have to re-interpret

Nice to have: experience with healthcare projects or multi-system integrations.
