Position Description:
The purpose of the business project is to redesign and improve the process for large demand customers seeking new or increased connections to the distribution system, experience in a customer centric environment will be essential. The Project Management Support role will support the customer project team with mobilization and planning of the key project objectives. The role will support the business team with the tracking of the project benefits, governance and reporting, risk and dependency management, coordinate cross team workshops, document team meetings and external customer meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help deliver the customer project scope, objectives, deliverables and overall delivery plan
• Produce concise status reporting covering progress, key decisions, risks and areas requiring management attention
• Translate identified customer pain points and improvement opportunities into a structured action plan.
• Track expected benefits and customer outcomes, such as reduced effort, improved communication
• Set up an appropriate governance structure, including project meetings, decision forums and escalation routes
• Maintain a RAID log covering risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
• Proactively identify cross-team dependencies and support escalation and resolution where required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Strong IT skills including Project Management, Share point and MS Word
• Good communications Skills
• Experience of working in a customer centric environment
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change
Desirable
• Knowledge of the Electricity Sector
• Experience of working on a customer project
Qualifications
• Relevant Qualification in Project Management, Customer Experience or a Commercial / Business discipline.
Essential
• Legal permission to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience including project management experience.
Base Location: Leopardstown, Dublin
Anticipated start date: 1st December 2026 or soon after
Contract Duration: 18 months
Hybrid working will be a feature of this role, combining remote working with attendance at base for in-person collaboration, minimum 2 days in the office and maximum of 3 days in the office, subject to ongoing review.
Please note that when the successful candidate is required to attend offices at Leopardstown, Dublin, travel, accommodation, and related expenses will not be reimbursed. Expenses incurred for business travel - that are not normally incurred by the successful candidate in their normal place of work - will be reimbursed. All travel and accommodation expenses shall be agreed in advance with the line manager. Claims for reimbursement of approved receipts must be via the contractor's agency.
Mileage rates in respect of journeys carried out will not apply.
Contractors must comply with all Health and Safety Regulations and requirements pertaining to the location where they are working and must comply with all directions and instructions from their designated line management.
• Contractors shall wear full PPE, including Arc-resistant where required.
• Steel toe boots compliant with S3 EN ISO 20345.
• Contractors shall be provided with an unbranded hard hat and ear defenders where required.
• This PPE will be provided by company's suppliers but without any identifiable Logo.
• The PPE to be provided does not include safety boots, gloves and eye protection. These are standard items that contractors should have at their cost.
• Contractors must have up to date SafePass and manual handling training.
The successful candidate must have use of a personal ‘phone, laptop/PC and internet facilities, and must be equipped to fully engage in a professional manner during the course of the engagement.
