Job: Project Manager - Technology & Customer Implementation
Location: County Donegal | Hybrid working
Salary: €50,000 – €60,000
The company
Kura is delighted to be partnering with a growing technology manufacturer serving regulated industries for a Project Manager to join the company who are experiencing rapid growth.
The role
You’ll own a portfolio of internal and customer-facing projects from start to finish. That includes product development, operational improvement, business change and customer rollouts. You’ll work across R&D, Quality, Operations, Sales, Technical Services and Customer Success, bringing structure, pace and visibility to delivery.
Your role includes:
- Define scope, goals and success criteria, and build realistic plans covering milestones, resources and budgets.
- Drive delivery: chair meetings, coordinate teams and third parties, clear blockers and escalate early.
- Manage risks, issues, changes and costs, with clear logs and up-to-date forecasts.
- Build quality, testing and stage gate approvals into plans where needed.
- Lead customer projects from sale through installation, training, sign-off and handover.
- Give leadership and customers clear, decision-ready status updates.
- Close projects properly, run lessons-learned reviews and improve processes.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience running several cross-functional projects at once in tech, manufacturing, engineering, software or a similar environment.
- Strong grip on budgets, governance, risk and change control.
- Confidence working with engineers, senior leaders, customers and partners without formal authority.
- Excellent organisation and communication, and the confidence to challenge unrealistic plans.
- A degree or equivalent hands-on project delivery experience.
- Nice to have: PRINCE2, PMP or Agile certification; experience with stage gate processes; projects combining hardware and software; regulated settings
This is an opportunity to work for a company who firstly genuinely care for their people and secondly have big ambitions including international growth.
