Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager 2 to join our team internally. The purpose of this position is to facilitate jobs in the execution phase of our client's production needs, serving as a key facilitator within the supply chain for packaging artwork issues .

In this role, you will communicate with design firms, printers, engravers, on-site personnel/sales, and US-based clients to ensure proper printability for packaging. You will coordinate packaging production via job instructions and schedules, acting as the primary resource to on-site personnel and sales, and the key point of contact for the internal production department .

Key Responsibilities

• Consultation & Client Support: Consult with on-site personnel and/or clients during artwork development and pre-press execution, responding in a timely manner .

• Relationship Management: Establish good and professional working relationships with clients, design firms, engravers, and printers .

• Communication: Communicate artwork issues with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders, documenting all critical information that may impact quality .

• Project & Timeline Management: Manage project timelines, communicate received and shipped art to on-site personnel/sales, and perform user functionality in tracking databases .

• Order Entry & Technical Verification: Ensure orders are complete and concise when delivered to production, verifying that technical supplied data is correct to supplied art .

• Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement efforts and production meetings to foster a positive creative impact on the business .

Must-Have Qualifications (Strict Filtering Criteria)

• Work Authorization: Must be a Mexican Citizen or Permanent Resident currently living in Mexico with valid work authorization.

• English Proficiency: Advanced level of English, capable of holding deep and technical conversations.

• Required Industry Background: Direct experience in the design, print, or production art industry, specifically with exposure to flexographic printing, prepress, or packaging graphics.

• Technical Skills:

  • Full comprehension in reading work instructions and business memos .

  • Proofreading skills required .

  • Ability to work independently after initial training .

  • Specific technical knowledge related to production or printing.

Preferred Experience & Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; some College/Associate's Degree or specialized technical/preparatory studies preferred .

• 2 to 5 years of general experience preferred .

• Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) in the print industry preferred .

• Experience using packaging workflow management tools or project tracking software.
