Company:

Payments happen everywhere. In stores, online, and across countless daily interactions. Ingenico helps businesses accept payments securely and seamlessly around the world. With operations in more than 30 countries, 4,000+ experts and over 45 years of experience, Ingenico is a trusted global leader in payment acceptance.

Join our EMEA Professional Services team, where you bring payment solutions to life for customers and make sure every deployment goes live successfully.

The Impact You’ll Make

  • Make sure every project goes live on time, within budget and certified, so customers reach their business outcomes.
  • Bring payment solutions to acquirers, network operators, PSPs, banking groups, retail and petrol chains, and unattended and EV-charging operators across Germany, DACH and EMEA.
  • Be the trusted link between customers, partners, acquirers, processors and Ingenico’s technical teams.
  • Strengthen how we deliver through reusable integration processes, tools, templates and lessons learned.

What You Will Do

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of payment software and Professional Services projects, including attended, Android SmartPOS, unattended and SoftPOS rollouts.
  • Lead payment application and girocard/scheme migrations, TMS onboarding and estate swaps, ECR/POS and host integrations, and Terminal-as-a-Service and managed-service launches.
  • Own planning, scope, budget, milestones, resources, dependencies, risks, issues and change management from kick-off through production deployment and handover.
  • Coordinate integration work across software development, QA, security and compliance, terminal and hardware, operations, support and customer technical teams.
  • Drive certification and acceptance, including test planning, defect follow-up, acquirer and processor validation, scheme certification and production readiness.
  • Manage customer deliverables such as integration specifications, test evidence, certification packs, deployment plans, training and operational handover.
  • Act as the main customer contact, with clear status reporting, escalation management and executive-level communication when required.
  • Ensure delivery complies with PCI requirements, security standards, payment regulations and Ingenico’s governance and quality processes.

What Helps You Succeed

  • 7-10 years of project management experience in software, payment technology, fintech, banking, acquiring, POS or transaction processing, including customer-facing integration or Professional Services projects, ideally with payment terminals. A relevant bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong payments knowledge: the card transaction lifecycle, acquiring and terminal-to-host architectures, girocard and DK approvals, EMV certification, ZVT and O.P.I, PCI, and terminal management.
  • Proven ability to run concurrent projects across countries using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methods, with stakeholder management up to C-level and commercial acumen across budgets, margin and change orders. PMP, PRINCE2 or Scrum certification is a plus.
  • Fluent German and English, written and spoken, and willingness to travel.

Location: Germany, Cologne (German office / hybrid).

At Ingenico, you join one global team shaping the future of payments with Trust, Innovation and Care.
