Joining Kinetic means being part of a purpose-driven business where your ideas matter, your development is supported, and your impact is real.

The Role

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of customer implementations across both student and commercial projects within the Professional Services team.

This role combines structured project leadership with strong commercial awareness, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while maximising customer value and business outcomes.

You’ll act as the central point of coordination across customers, consultants, and internal teams, taking ownership of governance, financial performance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement throughout the full project lifecycle.

We want to be upfront: this is a fast-paced role. At any one time you’ll be managing multiple projects, stakeholders and priorities, so you’ll thrive here if you’re dynamic, highly organised and comfortable working under pressure. You’ll also play an active part in shaping how we deliver, bringing best practice and championing continuous improvement across our PMO.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of customer implementations across both student and commercial projects

  • Oversee change requests, assessing their impact on scope, timelines and cost, and ensuring they are agreed, documented and delivered

  • Take ownership of project scope, timelines, budgets, and commercial performance

  • Create and manage detailed project timelines in Monday.com, with delivery backlogs held in Jira

  • Manage project administration in Salesforce, including budget tracking and billing

  • Use AI tools to automate and optimise workflows and day-to-day project administration

  • Facilitate project governance including RAID logs, change logs, status reporting, and meetings with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Manage customer stakeholders, ensuring expectations are aligned and proactively addressed

  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and change requests to protect commercial outcomes

  • Monitor revenue, margins, and billable utilisation across projects

  • Collaborate closely with Professional Services, Cloud Operations, Technical Services, Product, and Support teams to ensure smooth software delivery

  • Support pre-sales activities and pipeline planning when required, providing delivery input and effort estimates

  • Work as part of a wider PMO, drawing from a shared resource pool and balancing priorities across the portfolio

  • Help implement best practice and continuous improvement activities across project delivery

  • Help continuously improve project delivery frameworks, tools, and reporting standards

What You'll Bring

Essential Experience

  • A recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP)

  • Demonstrated experience delivering software implementation projects

  • A track record of managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment, staying calm and organised under pressure

  • A dynamic, proactive approach, comfortable with shifting priorities and lots of moving parts

  • Strong commercial awareness, including budgets, margins, billing, and change control

  • Confidence using project tools such as Monday.com, Jira, and Salesforce

  • A genuine interest in using AI to automate and optimise workflows, and a continuous improvement mindset

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with both clients and internal teams

Nice to Have

  • An Agile project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Agile, AgilePM, PMI-ACP)

  • Experience in SaaS environments (strongly preferred), with the ability to quickly understand complex applications
