Project Sales Engineer

Role Description This part-time hybrid role, based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, involves both on-site work and some work from home. The team member will support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with payroll and taxation processes as needed. Responsibilities may include preparing and reviewing financial reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify data and resolve discrepancies. The role also involves using cloud-based accounting software and collaboration tools to manage client files, update records, and ensure timely delivery of services. The individual is expected to follow established procedures, adhere to regulatory and firm standards, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong bookkeeping and basic accounting skills, including transaction recording, account reconciliation, and financial report preparation.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with accounting and payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, Sage, MYOB) and be comfortable working with cloud-based tools and document-sharing platforms.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of taxation fundamentals, cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting concepts relevant to small and medium-sized businesses.
• Candidates should possess good analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with international clients and cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment.
• Relevant education in accounting, finance, or business (e.g., diploma or degree) is beneficial; professional certifications or progress toward CPA, CA, ACCA, or similar credentials are an advantage.
