About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, the Property Officer plays a key role in supporting the effective management of Super Retail Group's stores within an allocated portfolio. You'll coordinate maintenance, repairs and facilities services across a range of assets, helping to ensure our sites remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently while contributing to the delivery of team objectives and service standards.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Manage reactive and preventative maintenance across the property portfolio, ensuring assets are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance works and contractor engagements, including scoping works, obtaining quotes and monitoring delivery.
  • Review maintenance requests and assess ownership responsibilities, ensuring works are actioned by the appropriate party in line with lease obligations.
  • Respond to critical property incidents, coordinating stakeholders and service providers to minimise operational disruption and safety risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stores, landlords, contractors and suppliers to facilitate effective property management outcomes.
  • Manage property administration, including purchase orders, invoices, vendor setup, landlord recoveries and asset register maintenance.
  • Monitor and support compliance with workplace safety, legislative requirements, lease obligations and risk management processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement across property maintenance, facilities management and safety practices, while supporting store teams with property-related guidance and training.

You're a proactive and organised professional who enjoys solving problems and building strong relationships. You bring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in property, facilities or retail environments will be highly regarded, along with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering great outcomes.

What You Bring

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Proven experience delivering operational outcomes in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Highly organised with strong administrative skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and stakeholder support.
  • Experience coordinating projects and managing multiple workstreams from planning through to delivery.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise systems, with confidence managing data and financial administration.
  • Experience in facilities, property, or retail environments, with exposure to corporate facilities management highly regarded.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, permanent role. We welcome applications from candidates based in Sydney or Brisbane, with the role operating from our rebel Home Ground Office in Rhodes (Sydney) or Strathpine Support Office (Brisbane), depending on your location.
