Join Our Team as a part-time (0.5 FTE) Proposals and Contracts Senior Manager.

About this role

As part of our CDS Dermatology team you will be working alongside passionate and innovative professionals to ensure our customers achieve their goals.

The Proposals and Contracts Senior Manager is responsible for ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­facilitating, overseeing, and providing complete business support for the TFS business development team from client meetings to proposal generation and closing of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex proposal, contract, and change order processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of client-facing documents and project budgets.

  • Serve as the senior subject matter expert for proposals and contracts, acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients.

  • Lead negotiations with clients, Legal, Business Development, and operational teams regarding contractual terms, budgets, Letters of Intent, Start-up Agreements, Work Orders, and Change Orders.

  • Provide strategic commercial guidance and recommendations to senior leadership, Business Development teams, and project teams during proposal and contract negotiations.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while developing a thorough understanding of client-specific contractual requirements and working practices.

  • Support workload management and prioritization within the Proposals & Contracts team to meet business needs, client deadlines, and quality expectations.

  • Ensure compliance with TFS SOPs, processes, policies, and quality standards across all proposal and contract activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the CRO industry, including proposal development, budget generation, contracts management, clinical research, business development, or sales.

  • Demonstrated expertise in proposal writing, contract negotiation, budget development, and commercial operations within a CRO environment.

  • Strong understanding of clinical research, drug development processes, and CRO business operations.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
