A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Industrial Spare Parts (ISP) Proposal Manager, you will play a key role in developing spare parts solutions for New Unit and Service projects within our Gas Services business. You will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across different countries, aligning spare parts requirements throughout the proposal and project execution phases. You will review project specifications and requirements, prepare spare parts calculations and contractual documentation, and coordinate activities to ensure high-quality deliverables on schedule. Along the way, you will exchange project experience and best practices with colleagues while managing different projects and priorities. Your involvement continues through to the final handover of the spare parts scope to the respective execution teams.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We bring zero or low-emission power generation solutions together with our portfolio of gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators. We also support decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Coordinate team activities and alignment meetings, ensuring spare parts lists are delivered according to agreed dates and contractual obligations.
- Develop the scope of spare parts lists and related proposals for domestic and international projects, including cost and margin analysis, bid approvals through the LoA process, and required handover documentation.
- Process parts orders and quotations in SAP PD2 and KSP to support project timelines throughout the sales and project implementation phases.
- Manage the handover of the spare parts scope to project execution teams in the Region and Business Unit.
- Collaborate with a global portfolio of customers and internal stakeholders, exchanging project experience and sharing best practices.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical background, together with at least 2 years of experience in similar functions.
- Experience in project or proposal management within the power generation business, combined with business acumen and the ability to work independently as well as lead project-specific teams for spare parts proposals.
- A focused, organized, and collaborative approach, with the ability to consider different perspectives, analyze requirements, adapt to changing projects and workloads, and consistently deliver high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills, drive, persistence, and the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. Fluent English is mandatory; German is an advantage.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage. You are keen to learn, comfortable following established processes, and proactive in identifying new approaches and solutions.
