Psychologist Position Title: Psychologist Location: Lifemark Physiotherapy Black Gold Drive located at 101 - 4330 Blackgold Drive, Leduc AB T9E 3C3 Status: Full time, Part Time or Casual Part-Time available @ 20 hours/week or more Schedule: Monday-Friday – w/ Wednesday on-site if possible Compensation: Fee-For-Service 55-65% for Part Time Contract or hourly/salary for Full Time employees Location type: Ideally Hybrid, possibility for fully remote Category: Clinic Operations Lifemark Physiotherapy Black Gold Drive is looking for a passionate Psychologist to deliver high-quality individual psychotherapy and assessments (MMPI-3/PAI) for the treatment of work injuries, and other mental health concerns in veterans and civilian adult populations covered by PCVRS, LTD, MVA insurances as well as private payers. In-person care would be possible on Wednesdays; however, there are opportunities for creating a hybrid schedule with virtual care services for any day of the week, or even a fully remote arrangement. The clinic Lifemark Physiotherapy Black Gold Drive is a bright and spacious treatment facility located at 101 - 4330 Black Gold Drive, Leduc AB T9E 3C3 The space is a beautiful 3,550 square foot clinic conveniently located at the east end of the Leduc Recreation Centre. Our spacious clinic boasts ten physiotherapy treatment beds, a dedicated chiropractic treatment area, two hand therapy stations, two private massage therapy rooms, a private psychology room, and a private acupuncture room. We are located on the ground level, just inside the East entrance doors of the Leduc Recreation Centre. We offer ample free parking, and our facility is wheelchair accessible. More about our services Lifemark psychologists can provide comprehensive assessment of psychological wellbeing, including cognitive, emotional, behavioral and interpersonal areas. Our psychologists diagnose mental disorders and provide the appropriate treatment to help you regain your mental health and wellbeing. In this role, the psychologist is part of a dedicated team of mental health professionals, complemented by a physiotherapist, physiotherapy assistant, kinesiologist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, four massage therapists, and three occupational therapists who work closely with our psychologists to provide the best care possible for our patients. Our diverse team specializes in sports rehabilitation, work-related and motor vehicle accident injuries as well as long term disability. Education and licensure Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university Current registration in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (competency with adult populations; clinical (asset: counselling psychology, health/rehabilitation psychology, neuropsychology) Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment Training/certifications with Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR and other evidence-based treatments highly desired Applied experience Experience with formal psychodiagnostics assessments (MMPI-3/PAI) is required 2 yrs. of clinical experience working with adult populations on LTD and return-to-work is preferred Experience with chronic pain and occupational rehab is an asset Conducting psychological assessments with adults for various goals, including treatment planning Working in interdisciplinary teams and with third party payers is considered an asset Utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods is considered an asset Additional abilities Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Able to work both autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary teams Efficient with required clinical documentation Able to manage a diverse caseload within dynamic work setting Demonstrated work ethics, integrity, reliability, maturity, and flexibility Preferred (not required): Bilingual - French English What You'll Love About Us Flexible healthcare and benefits: For permanent full-time colleagues, on top of comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, we offer employees, and their family members help with up to 100% coverage of long-term prescriptions.
