Public Relations Specialist: Sarota PR

Role Summary

We're looking for a Senior Public Relations Specialist with at least 5 years of PR experience to join our 15-person team. In this role, you'll be a key point of contact for our clients, building and implementing comprehensive communication strategies, especially within the B2B and technology sectors.

Success in this position looks like:

  • Successfully building and developing relationships with key journalists and opinion leaders.

  • Independently creating and executing PR strategies that deliver measurable results (KPIs).

  • Proactively positioning clients as industry experts by reacting to current trends and news.

  • Effectively managing projects and budgets, while mentoring junior specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Consultation: Develop, implement, and update client PR strategies, provide ongoing communication consulting, and maintain regular client contact.

  • Media Relations: Develop and pitch topics, create and update media lists, conduct follow-up, and build relationships with key journalists.

  • Content Creation: Draft high-quality press releases, comments, reports, case studies, and create expert content for social media (LinkedIn, X/Twitter).

  • Crisis Support: Prepare official statements, briefings, and lead rapid response efforts during crisis situations.

  • Event Management: Plan and coordinate press conferences, webinars, and expert roundtables, as well as support clients in preparing for public speaking engagements.

  • Project Management: Manage project statuses, schedules, and budgets, and ensure the achievement of agreed-upon KPIs.

  • Team Development: Mentor and support junior specialists in their daily tasks.

Qualifications

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate PR, a PR agency, or journalism.

  • Fluent English is required for daily work with international clients.

  • Excellent knowledge of the Polish media landscape and the ability to react to news (newsjacking).

  • High personal culture, strong communication skills, proactivity, and resilience under pressure.

  • The ability to work independently, excellent organizational skills, and a talent for prioritization.
