As an Interior Designer, you will work on the interior renovation of projects with varying levels of complexity from design through construction and installation. You will work with and receive mentorship from senior members in the department. Position Summary: The Purchasing Agent will assist with supply chain management and implementation of purchasing objectives. The role supports the development and ongoing management of assets comprised of Hospitality and Multi-Family residential developments. Reporting to the Senior Director of Procurement, the role supports in-house design, design consultants . The Purchasing Agent is responsible for bidding, purchasing, and expediting major projects as assigned so that all FF&E is available at the construction start date. Responsibilities: Responsible for obtaining FF&E quotations, warehousing and installation bids for items as specified by the approved project budget. Responsible for negotiating price, lead-time and payment terms. Responsible for obtaining scoped/specified items within budget. Responsible for cost analysis, purchasing and delivery of all products within an approved budget. Management of an effective project purchasing process to ensure that requirements are procured and delivered within required time lines. Effectively manage multiple complex projects with limited supervision. Process all requisitions and purchase orders. Responsible for processing deposits, pro-forma invoices and payments for Net 30 invoice by documenting FF&E receipts. Responsible for managing and issuing weekly 'Expediting Reports'. Initiate change orders to purchase orders, generate purchase orders for property level commitments as part of Capital Purchase Plans and other FF&E projects, as required.
