# QA Automation Team Lead – Turbomed

## About the Role

Join CGM, a leading healthcare software company operating in 19 countries with more than 9,000 employees. In this role, you will lead the QA Automation team for Turbomed and shape the test automation strategy across unit, integration, system, stress, and performance testing.

You will work closely with Engineering and Product Management to strengthen quality and delivery, establish shift-left, automation-first, and risk-based testing approaches, and advance AI-native test automation within the QA organization. The role combines people leadership with hands-on technical contribution to scalable testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, AI-powered testing workflows, and test infrastructure.

## Key Responsibilities

* Provide disciplinary and functional leadership for the Turbomed QA Automation team.

* Define and implement the test automation strategy across unit, integration, system, stress, and performance testing.

* Partner with Engineering and Product Management on delivery and quality commitments.

* Establish shift-left, automation-first, and risk-based testing practices throughout the development process.

* Contribute hands-on to the design of scalable test frameworks, test harnesses, and CI/CD pipelines.

* Drive AI-native test automation using Claude Code and AI agents for test generation, maintenance, and triage.

* Establish reusable AI skills and workflows for the wider QA team.

* Mentor QA Engineers and continuously strengthen the team's technical capabilities.

* Contribute expertise to the AIS DE QA community.

* Support a healthcare technology environment focused on innovation, quality, and patient safety.

## Required Qualifications

* Demonstrated leadership experience in test automation, with strong technical credibility and the ability to develop a senior QA team both technically and personally.

* Strong experience with multi-layered test frameworks, CI/CD, load testing, and performance testing.

* Strong programming skills in at least one language such as C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.

* Demonstrated effective use of AI in a QA environment.

* Experience with AI agents, skills, workflows, or similar agentic testing tools.

* Experience designing AI pipelines, test harnesses, and context engineering approaches.

* Fluent German and fluent English, both written and spoken.

* Strong problem-solving skills, innovation, and proactive working style.

* Entrepreneurial mindset and alignment with CGM's healthcare purpose and responsibility for patient safety.

* Excellent university degree, preferably a Master's degree, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical field, with very good academic performance.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Claude Code or similar agentic AI tools.

* Knowledge of the Turbomed technology stack, including Qt, .NET, MariaDB, and Gematik TI.

* Experience with security testing and penetration testing.

* Experience designing scalable QA automation frameworks and test infrastructure.

## Education & Experience

**Education**

* Excellent university degree, preferably Master's level, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical field.

* Very good academic performance.

**Experience**

* Demonstrated leadership experience in test automation.

* Strong experience with multi-layered testing, CI/CD, load and performance testing.

* Strong programming experience in at least one of C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.

* Demonstrated use of AI within QA.

* Experience with AI agents, skills, workflows, AI pipelines, test harnesses, and context engineering.

* Security and penetration-testing experience is preferred.

* Turbomed stack experience is preferred.

## Work Arrangement & Schedule
