QA Consultant

InnoWave is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented QA Consultant to join our team. If you have experience in software testing across web and mobile applications and are based in Lisbon, this might be the opportunity for you!

QA Consultant

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and acceptance testing.

• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.

• Analyze requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

• Ensure test coverage and traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.

• Use Xray for Jira to manage test cases, test executions, defects, and testing evidence.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

• Support the investigation and resolution of defects by providing clear and detailed information.

• Perform testing across different devices, browsers, and mobile platforms.

• Contribute to the definition and improvement of testing strategies, processes, and best practices.

Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.

• ISTQB certification is mandatory.

• Hands-on experience with web and mobile application testing.

• Experience with Xray for Jira for test management.

• Solid knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, and acceptance testing.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Good knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and quality mindset.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Proactive attitude, sense of responsibility, and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

• Experience with API testing or test automation tools is a plus.

• Knowledge of SQL and basic scripting is a plus.
